How do you pronounce Acire?

Acire /əˈsaIər/ - uh·sigh·yer

Why is the lead time 6ish weeks for made to order pieces?

At the moment, we do not have current inventory of all of our products. All of our pieces are made to order specifically for you. The ~6 week process allows for production, packing and shipping.

How do I know my ring size?

Please use our printable ring size guide to easily determine your size. You can find it here!

What is your return policy?

Since every piece is custom made to order, we do not offer returns. If something is not to your liking after you have made a purchase, please email us - hello@acirejewelry.com

Do you ship internationally?

Right now we do not ship internationally, but stay tuned! We are working on it ;-)

Why do you sell your earrings separately?

We strive to be as inclusive as possible and inspire as much creativity as possible. Some people have only one piercing they want to fill an earring with, or want to mix and match their jewelry. If you’re looking to buy a pair, just order 2 of the same earrings!

How do I care for my Acire jewelry?

Noticing your jewelry is not looking as shiny and new as it did when you first bought it? Maybe it needs a bath! To keep your jewelry shining and looking its best, follow these simple suggested cleaning steps:

  1. Fill a bowl with lukewarm water and a little bit of dish soap.
  2. Place your jewelry in the water and let it soak for a few minutes.
  3. Using a soft to medium bristle toothbrush, gently scrub the piece.
  4. Rinse the jewelry with fresh water and pat it dry with a soft cloth.

If your piece has enamel in it, keep it away from extreme temperatures. Extreme cold can make the enamel crack and excessive heat can make it melt. Also, lighter colored enamel can be prone to color transfer, especially white. Avoid contact with dyes, oils, and alcohol based products such as hand sanitizers, hairsprays, perfumes and lotions.

Even though you’ll love wearing your Acire jewelry, to keep it at its best we advise avoiding certain activities and scenarios to keep your jewelry looking spectacular.

Take off your jewelry when you are:

  • At the gym: lifting weights can scratch rings and any hard impact on your piece could make a stone fall out. Also, sweat can add a dulling film to your jewelry.
  • Applying sunscreen, soaps or lotions: Skincare is great for your skin but not for your jewelry! These products cause a film to form on your jewelry, making it appear dull and dingy.
  • Cleaning: When precious metals are exposed to the chemicals found in cleaning and personal care products, jewelry may tarnish the metal and stones may be damaged.
  • Swimming: We recommend not wearing your jewelry in the pool or to the beach. Some gemstones are more prone to scratching so when you are on the beach the sand can be abrasive. Chlorine in pools can also over time cause a chemical reaction that disintegrates the alloys in gold over time.

What if the ring I ordered is too small or too big?

All of our pieces are made to order and are final sale, and some of our styles are not suitable for resizing. Any eternity band or the Work it! Rolling Rings cannot be resized so we highly advise to use the ring sizer guide when figuring out which size to order.

We want you to love your Acire jewelry, and if your eternity band or Work it! Rolling is not a perfect fit, you can ship it back and exchange it for a fee. Please email us - hello@acirejewelry.com

    What about repairs?

All of our jewelry is made to order and is final sale, but can usually always be repaired! Please email us so we can help you fix it! Fees may apply.

    Should I insure my purchase?

We strongly encourage you to insure all of your fine jewelry pieces. If you have a current insurance policy, it is possible that you will be able to add your pieces onto your coverage. If you are starting a new policy, we recommend Jewelers Mutual or Lavalier.

Is it possible to have a necklace or bracelet chain length altered?

Yes! We are happy to either shorten or lengthen a necklace for you with a $40 charge for every 2” of chain added. Please leave the chain length desired in the “Order Notes” at check out on the specific item.

    Who creates my piece?

At Acire we design all of our styles, then model them in a computer aided design program. Then, we work very closely with local jewelers and stone vendors to bring the Acire pieces to life!

Can I use the metal from my current piece to make the new one?

We are always happy to reuse and recycle your precious metals as much as possible to make your new bespoke jewelry. The alloy of the precious metal you are supplying and what the end product will be dictates whether it is feasible to utilize the metal.

For example, if you have 14k Yellow Gold and want to make a Platinum ring, you can’t use the gold in your new ring, but can recycle it and put it towards the cost of your new piece! Most of our clients recycle gold with us to reduce their total project cost. This credit gets applied to your final invoice.

Can I customize a piece that I see on your site with a different enamel color?

Yes! We can accommodate custom colors for enamel styles. For custom color enamel requests please email us - hello@acirejewelry.com with a swatch of the color you would like.
