An engagement ring for Ted & Kristin //
Ok, I know I am not supposed to choose favorites but do date this is my favorite engagement ring designed with existing heirloom stones. That could be because It was a bit of a challenge and I really love problem solving in designs. My client Ted wanted to use stones from multiple rings which included two round center stone diamonds from existing family pieces. I wanted to design something that was chic and contemporary including all the stones and suggested a few options.
I did some rough sketches and Ted picked which direction he liked, and also expressed that he wanted a a wedding band that interacted with the engagement ring, so when worn together they are two parts becoming a whole. His idea naturally worked really well with the design chosen led to a concept for the wedding band where the band nests into the engagement ring when worn together. The concept itself is so beautiful having meaning symbolized in the rings themselves and came out absolutely stunning if I do say so myself!
